Looks like school is out at an inner city school in Hanoi. The schools were just 'shopfronts' along the busy streets. The only indication, if you don't read Vietnamese, was the noise of excited kids behind the fence.
Kids crossed the road, unsupervised.
A school bus? Kids paid money and 'jumped on'.
School kids who were 'walkers' headed up the street, weaving in and out of traffic.
The kids in the photo below were leaving a different school at 10 to 6 in the evening. A Tour Guide did tell us they do two 'shifts' each day. The 'early shift' swaps with the 'late shift' each semester or term. A good use of resources!
